Today, RZIM’s North American Director Abdu Murray and Itinerant speaker Logan Gates continue their two day visit to the University of Saskatchewan. In their talks and Q&A’s, they will be addressing some of our culture’s most pressing topics:

Do All Religions Lead to God?

Faith and Sexuality

Is the Bible Reliable?

At this time, we would ask to please keep Abdu and Logan in your prayers as they deliver their talks, address questions, and dialogue with the students at the University of Saskatchewan.

  • Please pray over both Abdu and Logan as they continue to prepare for their talks and allow the Holy Spirit to guide them.
  • More specifically, the topic of faith and sexuality can be a very sensitive one. Please pray over Logan, that he would be able to deliver the Good News the Christian faith speaks into these issues of our day.
  • Abdu will be a part of a multi-faith panel today. We ask that you join us in praying for Abdu to be able to address the questions thoughtfully and be able to represent the Christian worldview so that all who hear gain more clarity and understanding of Jesus.

It is essential we pray over the students that will be attending these events:

  • Please pray that God would be made known on the university campus and lives will be transformed through these impactful talks and thoughtful dialogues.
  • Pray that non-Christians will come out to these events, for open hearts and for God’s Spirit to move.
  • Pray that those with questions will have the courage to ask them and through these talks barriers to faith in Jesus would be broken.
  • Pray that those seeking answers will gain clarity and understanding that will draw them closer to a relationship with Jesus.
