‘Human Rights’ have almost become a buzz word in our culture. We value them and do our best to protect them. We don’t want anyone to be passed-over or mistreated based on race, gender, disability or host of other things. But where did we get such an acute awareness of human rights? Did we just evolve and stumble into them or is there a sacred and transcendent component to them that we unknowingly take for granted?
In the heart of the city of Winnipeg stands a remarkably designed Museum devoted to this very theme and therefore an ideal place to host an open forum dialogue. Join Christian Apologist Dr. Andy Bannister and Canadian Humanist Award winner Dr. Christopher DiCarlo as they address the issue of human rights from their contrasting worldviews. This event is a stand-alone feature of a Summit on Human Rights and open to the public. In addition, all guests will have access to the Museum for a 2 hr self-guided tour prior to the dialogue.
